Steven Sun

is a student at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools ('23) and is heavily involved in the science and math teams. He received multiple honors in the Illinois Science Olympiad for ornithology, and competed in the US National Chemistry Olympiad as a freshman. He became a passionate advocate of scientific equality after seeing the lack of diversity in the school teams and external competitions. In his free time, he enjoys playing team tennis, trying random experiments, and cooking. Secretly, he is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, shhh.
